About me...
I live in Castle Rock with my husband, two daughters, and two rescued and happy dogs. I have been in a private practice setting as a psychotherapist since 2013 and have run my own practice since 2014. In the past I have worked in a county Acute Treatment Unit and Crisis Stabilization Unit with individuals struggling with mental health crisis and acute psychiatric needs. I have also worked with the Colorado Crisis Line and National Suicide Hotline to provide immediate emotional support and resources for people experiencing mental health crises. I facilitated a weekly support group for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse through Wings Foundation for nearly two years. My previous career path involved work in the Natural Foods and Supplement industry. I am passionate about mind, body, and spiritual health and believe our challenges in life can impact our mental and physical well-being.
Education - I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from Regis University. The program at Regis University is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
Professional Affiliations - I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado (LPC.0013060).
